Prolific "wanted" shoplifter caught in the act by PCSOs

Last week , two of our PCSOs were calling at One Stop on Silverton Way, Wednesfield, where a prolific “wanted” shoplifter was in the act of (again) stealing almost £100 worth of their coffee.

The male attempted to make off, but after a short struggle with our PCSOs, they managed to overpower and detain him.

Officers quicky arrived on scene and the offender was promptly arrested.

The male was already wanted for numerous other thefts rom the same store.

He appears in court today where he is expected to be sent back to prison.
